Revealing stress and heartache as families struggle to access services, the program examines the cost of untreated mental illness in young people, by following a handful of Texans through the trials of tribulations of coping with these diseases. This is the first television documentary in Texas to address issues surrounding children�s mental health care. The viewing audience - whether it be the severely underserved public who cope with a mentally ill child every day or those who do not understand the extent of the crisis that exists - will come to see this as a gray issue.
