KTXT-TV is being equipped with a wide array of materials for distribution to community partners and parents. Printed materials for distribution includeparent/caregiver/teacher guides. These materials inform adults of such things as: Arthur will deal with sharing on Monday or Mr. Rogers will be talking about divorce in a particular week.

Nationally-produced breaks will encourage adults to interact with their children utilizing  materials that support specific program themes. Well-developed, widely-distributed publications are integral to successfully reaching and engaging children with their parents/caregivers/teachers. Also included in the program is the distribution of PBS Families Newsletters and 300 free books a month for children who do not have the resources to purchase their own. These materials are provided through producers and a grant from the United States Department of Education and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
