Angelina Ballerina is a character-driven drama
that is based on the enormously successful series of children's books by author
Katharine Holabird and illustrator Helen Craig. Angelina Ballerina follows
the adventures of a remarkable little mouse who dreams of becoming a prima
ballerina. It captures both the joys and frustrations of growing up. For
"real life" is not a perfect ballet, and the steps are often hard and
confusing. Finty Williams and her mother, Judi Dench are the voices of Angelina
and her mentor.
