DIGITAL TELEVISION LOOK AND SOUND Digital television sets have a crystal clear picture with a screen that is more horizontal, similar to a movie theatre screen. You may have heard the term: High Definition. It refers to a snow-free broadcast signal over the air into your home. Digital television is also capable of Dolby Digital Sound if you have the right equipment in your home. This sound is similar to movie theatre quality. The digital signal can be received on a standard analog set with a converter box. These will be available to the public long before the analog signal is required to be turned back to the FCC.
